The theme of Adam and Eve used in their works the great artists: Raphael, Titian, Michaelangelo, Hieronymus Bosch, Rubens, Lucas Cranach the Elder, Gustav Klimt etc.,

The Garden of Eden  or often Paradise is the biblical “garden of God”, described most notably in the Book of Genesis chapters 2 and 3, and also in the Book of Ezekiel. The man was free to eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Last of all, the God made a woman (Eve) from a rib of the man to be a companion the man. In chapter three, the man and the woman were seduced by the serpent into eating the forbidden fruit, and they were expelled from the garden to prevent them from eating of the tree of life, and thus living forever. Immediately God recognized their transgression and proclaimed their punishments—for the woman, pain in childbirth and subordination to man and, for the man, relegation to an accursed ground with which he must toil and sweat for his subsistence. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God in this picture surrounded by the fruits of his creations and dressed in a tuxedo and his face invicible in the shadow. The hand on the right side with rest of the apple symbolizes the act eating the fruit of sin and the fall of man.
